The trip is at the end. I’m at the airport waiting to board. Six days i Montreal have gone and as always I’ve a lot of things to bring home. A lot of beautiful spots fixed in the mind and in some pictures, the mood of a city that you cannot describe but you perceive walking in the streets, the chilly wind that cuts the ears, the friendly people that warm you, the good food eaten with people you didn’t know a few days ago, but you feel are friends and, of course, the dogsledding experience.
The workshop was absolutely interesting. Good results, a lot of thing learned and a lot of ideas to apply in the business. It’s always stimulating comparing your own experience with the one of people from all around the world that do your same business and face your same issues finding similar or completely different solutions. Frequently happens that you feel you can really trust these people and that you can share with them very intimate information retrieving suggestions and building a network that is extremely powerful.
What really is unbelievable for me is thinking that just three years ago my horizons were almost limited to Italy while now I talk and work more frequently with people from all around the world than with italians. What a different perspective and what an excitement. The idea of flying and visiting US was almost a dream, while now I get back home already with the ticket for next trip in my pocket. Four weeks at home and then destination Orange County!
